Teachers

Our Hebrew School teachers are passionate about guiding our children through all stages of their Jewish education.  Our curriculum is crafted by our teachers, rabbi, and School Committee with the objective that our children are aptly prepared to read, write, and speak Hebrew, participate in services, become Bar or Bat Mitzvah, and ultimately carry an appreciation for Judaism throughout their lives.

Ari has been a teacher at Sha’arei Shalom since 2007 and is our current kindergarten teacher. He has brought to Sha’arei Shalom a strong background in Judaism and music. He has a daughter who graduated our Hebrew School and a son who is entering the 6th grade.

Favorite Teaching Moment:
Ari's favorite moments are when he sees that his students have remembered concepts from prior weeks such as remembering the Shabbat blessings, or the Alef Bet. Having fun with the kids is also big part of Ari's class as well and loves when the kids laugh at his silly jokes.
